Ian and I went to a friend’s 60th birthday celebration last weekend. Fortunately, it stayed dry and we were able to stay outside which made a pleasant change. The weather has been utterly rubbish for what feels like the whole of summer. Bring on our trip to Sicily at the end of September!
This Boden red ponte jersey dress will forever remind me of the photographs we took on the red and yellow steps in Calpe Old Town. That was such an amazing holiday- our first visit to Calpe and our first proper holiday together. The dress and indeed the navy spotted raffia slingbacks will forever remind me of that wonderful week.
My Cult Gaia bag has proved to be such a useful addition to my summer wardrobe- I absolutely love it. Often times, it’s the only smart bag I take on holiday. A rather fabulous neutral that works with so many outfits. Raffia and rattan make for timeless summer accessories.

Etsy has literally hundreds of pairs of raffia/rattan earrings too, *here, many of which cost less than £10, so they’re a great way of adding texture to a summer outfit.
